Meet Every Single Treat
Submit a proposal now for a summer treatThe idea behind Every Single Treat was simple: what if I treated my cakes like art commissions? I could select the commissions that sounded interesting to me, collaborate with other people and bring their dream cakes to life, all at the pace I wanted.
Each month, I select one cake to make based on the flavors, textures, colors, and smells that are inspiring, nostalgic, and resonant to you. Together, we’ll come up with a final flavor combination and design to make a reality.
Submitting does not guarantee you a cake, just as contacting an artist for a commission does not guarantee acceptance. This is not a traditional bakery. It’s for people who love the process, who care about artistry, are obsessive about design and flavor, who want to eat every single treat.
FAQIs this a bakery?
No. This is an artist-style commission project. I create one selected cake proposal during each commission period.
If I submit a proposal, am I guaranteed a cake?
Sadly not. Submitting a proposal is only an application for consideration, given the constraints of this project.
Where will you deliver cakes to?
I can deliver to you if you are within five miles of the Marksman Pub.
How does pricing work?
There is no fixed price list. Each commission is unique, and pricing depends on factors such as size, ingredients, complexity, and any specialty sourcing required.
When you submit a proposal, you'll be asked for an approximate budget range. If your proposal is selected, I'll develop the concept and provide a quote before any commitment is required.
Budget does not determine which proposal is chosen. I select commissions based on the ideas that excite me most.
If the quoted price doesn't work for you, you're free to decline with no obligation to proceed.
How often do you choose a commission?
The submission window closes two weeks before the following month. I will select as many commissions as I am able for that month, depending on availability.
How will I know if I'm selected?
You'll receive an email after the submission period closes.
How do you choose which cake to make of those submitted?
I select proposals based on:
Creative potential
Flavor combinations
Texture exploration
Seasonal ingredients
Concepts I haven't explored before
I do not select based on:
Submission order
Budget
Occasion importance
Can I request a specific design?
You may suggest one, but the final cake will reflect my artistic interpretation.
Do you make cakes for weddings?
No. At this time, I don't accept event-critical commissions.
